Vintage Moroccan Runner

Vintage flat woven runner from the Beni Mellal region with a black base and textural handwoven design typical of this area in bright orange, pink, blue, green, red and yellow.

Handwoven in 100% wool on the surface with a colourful mixed cotton and wool backing. 30+ year 1980s aged vintage runner with a low pile textural surface and natural cotton end tassels.

Long runner shape great for kitchens, open plan areas and hallways.

Vintage Runners

These bohemian style rugs and runners often feature large central diamond shapes and Berber symbology throughout. Originating from the Boujad region of the middle Atlas Mountains, Boujad rugs and runners are all unique works of art.

Moroccan runners are perfect for adding texture and colour to hallways, small spaces like studies and as a cosy bedside rug in your bedroom or nursery. They range from flat weave kilims through to low pile and textured runners, and thicker medium pile runners with a fluffy surface.

The size of vintage runners can be limited, with the older vintage pieces mostly measuring maximum 3 - 4 meters in length. Occasionally we'll find an extra long length vintage runner, although this is quite rare.

For longer length runners the newly made Moroccan runner styles offer longer lengths up to 6 meters.
