Handwoven Beni Ourain Rug
The Beni Rug is made to order, sustainably handwoven specially for you on traditional looms with a lead time of 2-3 months.
These Beni Ourain style black and white rugs have a thick plush medium pile of high quality 100% wool. Available in natural white, with or without a minimal black geometric design.
Finished with optional 15cm raw wool tassels at one end.
Available in standard sizes. Custom sizes and colours are available upon enquiry.

Custom Rugs
Nouvelle Nomad rugs are sustainably handmade on traditional looms in the highest quality 100% natural wool.
We work with local family businesses and artisan makers to produce our considered collection of handwoven pieces from the traditional handcraft regions of Morocco - Beni Ourain, Beni M'rirt, Boujad, Taznakht.
Various standard sized rugs are available in natural white, with custom sizes and colours available upon enquiry.
On placement of your order, your rug will be woven for you over the space of 2 months. When your rug is ready from the weavers, you'll receive photos of your new treasure before being shipped via DHL to you in your home.

Shipping
We include free worldwide shipping via DHL express for all our online prices.
Please allow up to 2 weeks for our team to prepare and package your rugs for shipping.
Every vintage rug is given a hand-wash, a final inspection and light hand repairs if required before being shipped.

Returns
We accept returns for a refund within 30 days of you receiving your delivery.
We charge a 20% re-stocking fee to cover the cost of shipping your rug to you and the transaction fees.
The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the sender and can be sent to either the Melbourne or Marrakech warehouse, which ever is most economical from your location.

Rug Cleaning & Care
We recommend light vacuuming and occasionally hanging your rug outside in the sunshine for some fresh air.
Spot cleaning can be done with mild soapy water. Please be mindful of the natural dyes as they may bleed if left wet on top of other textiles.
For tougher stains we recommend to use a professional rug cleaning service that specialises in vintage and antique carpets.
