Vintage Moroccan Kilim Runner

Vintage Boujad flat woven kilim runner in great original condition. A soft purple base colour of lilac and plum with hints of soft peach, pink, and turquoise through the design work in black and brown.

Original 1980s - 70s aged handwoven in 100% wool with a flat textural surface. Flat woven kilim blanket finishing it at one end, short original end tassels at the other end.

This is a flat low pile runner great for kitchens, running along an island bench, open plan areas and hallways.

Vintage Boujad Rugs

These bohemian style rugs and runners often feature large central diamond shapes and Berber symbology throughout. Originating from the Boujad region of the middle Atlas Mountains, Boujad rugs and runners are all unique works of art.

Moroccan runners are perfect for adding texture and colour to hallways, small spaces like studies and as a cosy bedside rug in your bedroom or nursery. They range from flat weave kilims through to low pile and textured runners, and thicker medium pile runners with a fluffy surface.

The size of vintage runners can be limited, with the older vintage pieces mostly measuring maximum 3 - 4 meters in length. Occasionally we'll find an extra long length vintage runner, although this is quite rare.

For longer length runners the newly made Moroccan runner styles offer longer lengths up to 6 meters.
