A gorgeous berry toned vintage Boujad region rug aged 50-60 years old, circ 1960s.
A soft naturally dyed cherry red base, with checker board of stars, Berber symbols and diamond shapes in beautiful bright tangerine, rose pink, black and natural cream tones. Black border with zig zag pattern.
Low-pile loop knotted style of weaving, with original hand plaited end tassels at one end in tact. Unusually wide size for a vintage Boujad, makes this piece a great size and shape for dining areas and lounge.
A special collectors piece in great vintage condition with small areas of hand repair.
