Moroccan Tamegroute Ceramic vase with saw tooth edges in a gold glaze. Use as a beautiful rutic decorative item on your shelf, or to display dried flowers.
- Size: 20cm tall, 20cm wide
- Handmade in Morocco
- Each piece is a unique item with variations in glaze and it's own imperfections
- Please note Tamegroute vases are best used as decorative items. Due to their porous clay they are not guaranteed to be water tight when used as a vase.
These iconic emerald green, olive and gold toned ceramics come from the village of Tamegroute, one of Morocco's oldest pottery workshops. Located in the region of Zagora on the edge of the Sahara.
Made by hand from the mineral rich earth, fired in open air kilns and sun dried. The unique colours and effects of the glaze are a result of the minerals and stacking techniques.
Each piece is a unique item with it's own characteristics and imperfections. Difference in colour, glaze finishes and texture are to be expected.
